Locations
Provide independent nursing care to patients based on established plans of care using evidence-based practice. Assess patient needs and implement nursing interventions while maintaining professional competencies and registration.
Must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program within the last 12 months or upcoming year and eligible for licensing with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses. An active BLS Certificate (First Aid and CPR at HCP level) is required.
Provide nursing care independently to patients with an established plan of care Applies nursing knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills consistent with educational preparation Is knowledgeable, skilled, and has the judgment needed to provide competent, evidence-based nursing practice, and contributes to the efficient and effective functioning of the unit/program/specialty Is responsible for maintaining and continually enhancing competencies through ongoing professional development, including participation in education programs, research, and continuous quality activities Assesses patient needs and provides nursing interventions within their scope of practice. Is responsible and accountable for nursing practice and conduct as defined by the Nova Scotia College of Nursing and for ensuring that registration is current and valid
