The Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with impairments, pain, and functional limitations across various clinical settings. They are also responsible for educating patients and supervising physiotherapy students and assistants.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor or Master of Science in Physiotherapy and be members of the Nova Scotia College Physiotherapy Regulator. BCLS certification and proficiency in computer skills are required, with French language skills considered an asset.

The Physiotherapist may provide service in outpatient, inpatient and community settings. The Physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members and caregivers. The Physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of assistants. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required. The successful applicant may be required to provide services anywhere within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
Membership with the Nova Scotia College Physiotherapy Regulator Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Physiotherapy or Master of Science in Physiotherapy Computer skills (statistics input, word processing, Outlook) Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) Physiotherapy is a diverse profession requiring additional courses/education/training in many specialized areas or practice, e.g., cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, balance training, etc Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
