The Cardiology Technician works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide diagnostic imaging services on a regional basis. They perform ECG and Holter monitoring procedures in accordance with organizational policies and legislation.
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in ECG and Holter monitoring and possess a Grade 12 education. A current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is also required for the position.

Position Overview Under the direction of the Diagnostic Services Manager, the Cardiology Technician works as part of a multidisciplinary team, to provide best practice Diagnostic Imaging Services on a regional basis in order to promote good health and quality of life.
Functions are conducted in accordance with the Mission and Values of Shared Health, current policies and procedures and applicable legislation. Experience Two (2) years’ experience in performing of ECG and Holter monitoring within the last five (5) years.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 12 education (MB Standards). Other combinations of suitable education and experience may be considered.
Certification/Licensure/Registration Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training – as delineated in Prairie Mountain. Health Policy PPG-00002 CPR Training with a BCLS Instructor Certificate.
