The General Duty Ultrasound Technologist provides ultrasound services under supervision, performing scans requested by Physicians and managing related patient care, diagnostic files, equipment, and supplies. They must maintain a safe environment and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and accreditation standards.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved Ultrasound training program and maintain active registration with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS, with CAMRT registration being an asset. Required skills include proficiency in a Windows computer environment, precise attention to detail, effective English communication, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
