The Rehabilitation Service Specialist acts as the primary point of contact for veterans, managing their rehabilitation plans and coordinating services across medical, psychosocial, and vocational domains. They are responsible for assessing participant needs, identifying barriers to re-establishment, and implementing goal-oriented strategies to improve functional well-being.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Health Services, along with a professional designation. A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical, psychosocial, or vocational rehabilitation is required, as well as the ability to obtain federal security clearance.

Lifemark’s Rehabilitation Services and Vocational Assistance Program (RSVP) is delivered on behalf of Veterans Affairs Canada and in partnership with WCG. The RSS is the single point of contact for Participants throughout the entire program. The RSS role is critical in establishing trust and building rapport with the Participant through timely effective communication, pro-active case management, and expert ability to plan.
