The Primary Care Nurse provides a broad range of health care services to clients and the community in areas without resident physicians. They are responsible for the overall leadership of nursing services and engaging in community program consultation.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and have at least two years of nursing experience. Required certifications include ITLS, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a valid Class 5 driver's license.

The Primary Care Nurse, AAP provides nursing services to clients in communities without hospitals or resident physicians but where physicians work within agreements with the employer to provide medical services on a regular, visiting basis. The RN, AAP provides a broad range of health care services for the client and the community. The RN, AAP is responsible for the overall leadership of nursing services.
