The Occupational Therapist collaborates with clients by conducting assessments, implementing interventions, and planning follow-up services to meet occupational performance goals. This role supports healthy lifestyles, prevents illness and disability, and promotes health, supported by continuing professional development, research, and quality improvement.
Candidates must possess an entry-to-practice academic credential in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Canadian university or an approved equivalent, and must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM). Recent and relevant clinical experience is preferred, along with demonstrated skills in communication, critical thinking, organization, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
The Occupational Therapist collaborates with clients through assessment, interventions, follow-up, planning and designing of services to meet occupational performance goals, support healthy lifestyles, prevent illness and disability and promote health. Quality client care is supported through continuing professional development, research, quality improvement and promotion of occupational therapy.
This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.
