The Services Assistant will maintain a safe, clean, and well-supported healthcare environment by providing timely and effective catering and cleaning services within the health unit. Duties include food preparation, service, general housekeeping, laundry tasks, and performing specialized cleaning to reduce cross-infection risks.
Candidates must have experience in housekeeping, cooking/catering, or laundry, along with proficiency in computer packages like Microsoft Word and Excel. Applicants should also demonstrate the ability to exercise judgment and initiative in daily tasks.

As a Services Assistant, you will deliver a high standard of service through the provision of timely, efficient and effective catering and cleaning services within the health unit. Your duties will include the preparation, service and delivery of food to clients, general housekeeping, and undertaking laundry tasks as required.
In this role, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment by performing cleaning duties that reduce the risk of cross infection, including specialised cleaning such as operating theatres and handling contaminated waste. You will also support catering functions by preparing food items, assisting with dietary requirements and maintaining food safety standards.
