The role involves providing personal care to clients, supporting Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as meal preparation and light housekeeping, and assisting with safe ambulation and transfers. Responsibilities also include promoting client independence, offering psychological and emotional support, and ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
Candidates must possess a PSW certification or diploma, along with current First Aid and CPR Level C certificates, and must pass a recent Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening. Essential soft skills include strong time management, professionalism, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
