The role involves providing personal care to clients, supporting Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as meal preparation and light housekeeping, and assisting with safe ambulation and transfers. Workers must also promote client independence and provide psychological and emotional support while communicating clearly with stakeholders.
Candidates must possess a PSW certification or diploma, along with current First Aid and CPR level C certificates, and must pass a recent Police Criminal Record Check and TB test/immunizations. Essential qualifications also include having access to a reliable vehicle for community travel and demonstrating strong professionalism and communication skills.
