The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care for post-surgical orthopedic patients, including routine vitals and rounding, managing an assignment of 3 to 4 patients. Key duties involve utilizing standard nursing processes, adhering to CRNA standards, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
Candidates must have completed an accredited nursing education program with 2-3 years of recent experience in an acute care day surgery or inpatient surgery setting, holding an active practice permit with CRNA. Required professional credentials include valid BLS-HCP and ACLS certifications, along with excellent assessment and communication skills.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides a wide variety of nursing services to patients and their families. You will utilize standard nursing processes thorough critical thinking, problem solving and decision making. The RN acts in accordance with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) standards and aligned to facility policies and procedures. The RN possesses the related education and clinical experience to assess, treat and educate patients undergoing and recovering from a wide variety of surgical procedures.
