The Resident Attendant will form deep understandings of residents, build relationships with them and their families, and provide support options and program choices to enrich their daily health and well-being. Responsibilities include promptly answering call bells, completing assigned resident care tasks, transporting residents, and performing laundry and housekeeping duties.
Candidates must have a minimum of six months of experience in a similar role, current First Aid/CPR training, and excellent English language skills. A Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent 16-hour course recognized by the department is required, or willingness to complete it within three months of starting.
