The Health Care Aide will provide direct resident supervision and assistance with activities of daily living according to individual care plans, while also aiding residents with communication and ensuring access to necessary mobility devices. They will also offer cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, including oral and dental care, encouraging participation in resident programs.
Candidates must have completed a Health Care Aide program from an approved college and possess the ability to perform simple treatments and provide bedside care with attention to detail. Applicants must also demonstrate compassion, dedication to supporting seniors, and exercise tact and diplomacy when interacting with residents and their families.
