include providing crisis intervention, care planning, and assessments for risks like suicide and safety planning, while working with high-risk complex cases. The role also involves planning assistance programs and providing care respecting Indigenous worldviews, beliefs, and customs.
Candidates must have two to five years of experience as a registered Social Worker, including required experience in Child Protective Services, and hold a bachelor’s degree in social work. Applicants must also be able to travel to remote Nunavut communities for 6-8 week assignments and maintain current provincial registration.
