Caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help clients remain safe and independent in their homes, which includes engaging in fun conversations, participating in hobbies, preparing meals, and assisting with daily activities of living. Responsibilities also involve reporting on completed activities and providing updates on the client's physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
Candidates must be passionate about helping others, enjoy customer service, and desire to make a difference in their community. Essential requirements include a valid driver's license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, proof of automobile insurance, and successful vulnerable sector check screening and background check.
