The Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care, supporting clients in trauma-focused programming alongside DIS and Auto caseloads. Key duties include applying clinical expertise in assessment, intervention, consultation, case management, discharge planning, education, and follow-up within a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered in good standing with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists, with a minimum of one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, though trauma-focused experience is strongly preferred. Experience in trauma-informed practice, working with complex presentations, return to work, and interdisciplinary care is beneficial, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Occupational therapist, edmonton sw, ab.
We are currently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist with a strong interest or experience in trauma-focused care to join our Edmonton SW clinic.
While this is a full-time role, the caseload will primarily focus on trauma-related programming, alongside DIS and Auto services. This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who is confident in trauma-informed practice and passionate about supporting clients navigating complex recovery journeys.
If you’re passionate about offering a holistic, trauma-informed approach to care, this is your chance to do what you do best. Our interdisciplinary team means you can collaborate with a variety of experts, deepen your expertise in trauma programming, and contribute meaningfully to return-to-work and rehabilitation outcomes.
As an Occupational Therapist at our Edmonton SW Clinic, you’ll have the tools and support you need to help clients improve their quality of life and safely progress through their recovery. Throughout your career with us, you’ll continue to grow your clinical skillset while working within a supportive team environment that values collaboration and excellence.
