The Occupational Therapist will manage the entire client treatment plan, from assessment through discharge, collaborating with colleagues locally and nationally to ensure excellent outcomes for diverse clients, including those with chronic or mental health conditions. Responsibilities also involve conducting specialized assessments like attendant care Form 1s, coordinating assistive device setup, and managing the return-to-work process with all stakeholders.
Candidates must possess registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and have a valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle. Success requires passion for the profession, strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients in a fast-paced environment.

Working in communities across Ontario, our Community Rehabilitation Services team treats clients who’ve experienced workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents, focusing on a return to pre-accident function. Treatment goals are determined collaboratively with our clients and funders and include self-care, home management, community engagement and a return to work.
Occupational Therapists within our Complex Auto program assess and treat clients presenting with various physical (musculoskeletal, orthopaedic), cognitive (TBIs, concussions) and psychosocial impairments related to motor vehicle accidents. Working in a community setting, we guide our clients through every step of their recovery.
In our Traumatic Psychological Injury program, Occupational Therapists work with first responders who’ve experienced trauma in the workplace, conducting in vivo exposure therapy and facilitating trauma processing, coping and return to function. Our innovative approach to evidence-based care incorporates novel interventions like virtual reality to promote industry-leading mental health outcomes.
Working as an Independent Contractor on our team, you will have the opportunity to specialize in one area of practice or to take on a mixed caseload.
