The role involves appropriately assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services for patient care, including performing all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services like scaling, root planning, and polishing. Additionally, the hygienist will serve as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients.
Candidates must possess a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree and maintain current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body. A valid CPR certification is also required, and applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
