Shifts of work will be scheduled days rotating from 07:30 to 15:30, 08:30 to 16:30 hours. This position will also include on-call hours. About this Location The Cariboo Memorial Hospital & Health Centre is a Level 2 Community Hospital in Williams Lake. The hospital embodies a resident-centered philosophy designed to support residents’ choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible. With 28 inpatient beds, the hospital offers an emergency room, an intensive care unit, operating rooms, and medical-surgical and obstetrical units. Lab and diagnostic imaging and outpatient hemodialysis units are operated on site. Residential beds are embedded within medical-surgical unit on second floor of the hospital. Surrounded by rugged forests and stunning lakes, Williams Lake is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Qualfications Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) Current CPR certification required Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area (perioperative nursing) and one year recent related clinical experience in the assigned practice environment on an operating room similar in size and scope to the facility or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
