Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Surgical department at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, BC.   • Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
  • Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
  • Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities This is a Permanent Part-time (0.76) opportunity. Shifts of work will be scheduled evenings and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours. About this Location Located in Vernon, between Kelowna and Kamloops, VJH offers services including core physician specialties, 24 hour emergency and trauma services, acute and obstetrical care. As the primary surgical floor for the hospital, we get to see a variety of surgeries on a daily basis. We have Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, Gynecological, and ENT (ears, nose, and throat). We have a wide variety of skill opportunities such as IV’s, PCA’s, Epidural’s, Drains, Catheters, NG’s, TPN, Blood transfusions, Ostomies, complex dressings and Chest tubes. We are a fast paced, energetic floor that will help you consolidate your surgical/medical skills while working in a supportive, team based environment.   • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
