Fill vacant shifts for short-call and advanced-booking absences.
Arrange and schedule employee time off.
Communicate with ward clerks and supervisors regarding shift changes and vacancies.
Monitor short call-in boxes and calls and action shift filling.
Receive absence calls and complete call-ins to fill vacant shifts.
Process shift changes and mutual requests.
Prepare scheduling handover reports, rosters, communications, and related files.
Pull scheduling and workforce analytics reports.
Assist with payroll tracking as necessary
Completion of a related certificate or diploma in Office Administration or Medical Office Administration, or 12 months of equivalent experience.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Scheduling, long-term care, or healthcare experience preferred.
Experience working with collective agreements preferred.
