We are hiring for a Casual Occupational Therapist for our Home Health team in Kelowna. This position requires a valid BC drivers license and access to a personal vehicle for work purposes. Days of Work: Days as required. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on the needs of the department. Shift times/Hours of work: 08:30 to 16:30

The Occupational Therapist works independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, and may be providing a full range of occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapy programs to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes.
Provide consultation, education, and support to clients and their caregivers.
Prescribe and recommend appropriate equipment to enhance daily living.
Participate in program planning, quality assurance initiatives, research, and departmental meetings.
Offer guidance and work direction to rehabilitation assistants regarding transfer of function. Full practicing licensee as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. Valid BC Driver’s license.
