Provide direct nursing care to participants at the iOAT Clinic.
Administer medications and monitor responses.
Support harm reduction practices within the LPN scope of practice.

The Position The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to participants at the iOAT Clinic by administering medications, monitoring responses, and supporting harm reduction practices within the LPN scope of practice in British Columbia.
The role contributes to participant health and wellness by collaborating with Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, physicians, and other team members to deliver safe, trauma-informed, and culturally safe care.

Licensed in Practical Nursing from a recognized institution.
Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience in community health, mental health, or substance use care preferred.
Certificates in CPR, First Aid, and Naloxone training required.
Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check clearance.
Ability to build therapeutic, respectful, culturally safe relationships.
Ability to work within LPN scope of practice and perform basic nursing procedures.
Ability to document clinically and communicate observations for care coordination
