This is a part-time role scheduled Monday to Saturday for 2-3 days per week based on clinic needs and mutual availability.
Our Oakville clinic is located at 2275 Upper Middle Road E.
There is free parking available on site!
What You’ll Do: Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations in accordance with infectious disease, sterilization and patient safety protocols, policies and procedures.
Review patient medical history, evaluate contraindications, obtain patient consent, perform required ultrasound examinations and document findings.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and basic quality control checks.
Ensure sonography exam results meet facility standards for quality assurance.
Coordinate with cross functional clinic teams to ensure exceptional service and client experience.
Operates the PACS as needed so that the reporting physician may report findings.
What You’ll Need: 1+ years of experience as a sonographer performing examinations such as abdominal exams Breast, transvaginal and transrectal experience an asset Member of the CMRITO Ultrasound ARDMS certification Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Position Pay Range $35.43 - $48.72 CAD per hour Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade.
