The Opportunity: Medcan is recruiting for a casual Mammographer/X-Ray Technologist/MRT to join our growing high-performance clinical team.
This is a permanent casual role scheduled on primarily on Saturdays .
Shifts will be 8.5 hours scheduled within regular business hours (7 am - 7 pm).
Some availability for coverage Monday - Friday may be required as needed.
This role will work at our Oakville location (2275 Upper Middle Rd E #501) which offers free parking at the clinic!
What You'll Do: Patient preparation for and performance of mammograms and bone density scans following the required guidelines for the procedures Record and process patient data Operate and maintain equipment, and perform basic quality control checks Update, file and maintain client information Review of previous reports and discussion with physicians and radiologists Prepare for the next day's client list by checking for previous exams Assist the clinic with other duties as appropriate What You'll Need: Member of CMRITO Bone Density and Mammography Experience required.
Superior organization and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Word and Outlook Position Pay Range $35.43 - $48.72 CAD per hour Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade.
