How You Will Make an Impact In this role, you will work to make a difference in the lives of tenants living at Welkom House. Provide tenants with primary case management and community resources Services to tenants include assessment & planning Provide crisis prevention and intervention and supportive counseling Demonstrate commitment to the Good Shepherd mission values of Hospitality, Responsibility, Availability, Adaptability, Quality and Dignity Observe all health and safety rules and work in compliance with the provisions of the occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations What You'll Bring to Our Team A post-secondary education in social or health services A minimum of three years' experience in mental health, and concurrent disorders is required 'Recovery orientation' and 'consumer driven' style of practice is essential Possess the ability to work independently and think creatively Ability to speak French and/or other languages considered an asset CPR certification or willingness to be certified is required Adhere to working and operating within an anti-racism and anti-oppression framework
