Registered Dental Hygienist Practice: New Hamburg Dental Group Location: New Hamburg Website: https://www.newhamburgdentalgroup.ca Role Type: Part-Time Role Hours: Friday 7:30 a.m.–1:15 p.m.

Job Overview New Hamburg Dental Group is a family-friendly, patient-centered, modern dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

We are seeking a caring, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, educating patients, and building lasting relationships that support long-term oral health.

Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including assessments, scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.

Perform periodontal evaluations and document findings accurately.

Take digital radiographs according to practice protocols.

Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment plans.

Maintain strict infection control and sterilization procedures (IPAC compliance).

Collaborate closely with dentists and the clinical team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts using [Practice Management Software].

Ensure operatory cleanliness, organization, and readiness for each patient.

Contribute to a positive and supportive patient experience at every visit.

Qualifications

  • Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO). Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program. Current CPR/BLS certification (required). Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive care. Experience with digital radiography and hygiene-specific tools. Familiarity with dental software such as Tracker, Dentrix, Abeldent, Paradigm, Cleardent, or similar (asset). Excellent communication and patient education skills. Strong attention to detail, clinical accuracy, and infection-control compliance. Positive, compassionate, and team-oriented approach. Requirements
