Dental Assistant (Level II – NDAEB Certified)

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and energetic Level II Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and a variety of clinical procedures.
Prepare, organize, and set up trays, instruments, and materials prior to procedures.
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with HARP regulations.
Provide chairside support including suctioning, passing instruments, and ensuring patient comfort.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-operative instructions.
Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical operatory cleanliness according to infection control and IPAC standards.
Document patient care in the practice management system accurately and promptly.
Assist with impressions, whitening procedures, and other Level II duties as permitted.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and report stock needs to the clinical lead or dentist.
Support a smooth and efficient patient flow throughout the day by collaborating closely with the dental team.

Must be an NDAEB-Certified Level II Dental Assistant with HARP Certification. Proficiency in dental software and experience in orthodontics or pediatric dentistry is considered an asset.
