The Licensed Group Home is responsible for providing guidance, support and supervision for individuals with Cognitive, Mental and Physical Disabilities that require 24/7 care.
Working 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule, Personal Care Workers support and supervise individuals with physical abilities; use a team approach to plan, organize and supervise daily activities; prepare and serve meals as planned; administer prescribed medications;

Suitable candidates will have a minimum Grade 12; Personal Care Worker, Continuing Care Aide or Home Health Aide Certificate or equivalent is preferred; Certified First Aide & CPR and Safe Food Handling Certificate required or willing to obtain; Previous home care or childcare experience is an preferred; Experience working with First Nations Communities is an asset; Valid Driver’s License preferred. Combination of Education and Experience may be considered; on the job training will be provided.
Candidates should have a minimum of Grade 12 and preferably a Personal Care Worker or Home Health Aide certificate. First Aid, CPR, and Safe Food Handling certifications are required or must be obtained.
