About the role

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive post-anesthesia care, focusing on patient safety, physical and psychological needs. They are responsible for creating a healing environment and collaborating with families and caregivers in a team-based setting.

Here’s What You Need

Qualifications

  • Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR
  • Associate's Degree Nursing required OR
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • Previous PACU experience or critical care experience preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required AND
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 days required What You Will Do

Requirements

Candidates must have a nursing diploma or degree and at least one year of RN experience or completion of a residency program. Required certifications include BCLS, with ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of hire.
