The Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for the accurate preparation, delivery, and storage of medications while maintaining departmental quality and safety standards. They also provide autonomous support for record-keeping and utilize advanced technology to assist pharmacy leadership.

Education · High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience · 6 months pharmacy tech experience in healthcare setting required Licenses and Certifications · RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required What You Will Do Tasks specific to Tech II: · Functionality requiring additional competency above Tech 1 · Autonomous responsibility either with record keeping or as a single point of contact outside the department · Advanced technology expertise and ownership · Delegated functions of pharmacy leadership (manager or lead technicians) · Timely and accurate preparation, delivery & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so. · Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation.
