We are hiring for a relief Physiotherapist for the Kelowna Community team. This position is anticipated to run until February 2028 or the return of the current incumbent. This position also participates in the community team’s rotation for Saturday coverage. This means working two or three pre-scheduled Saturdays per year with a corresponding weekday off in lieu. A valid BC drivers license and access to a personal vehicle is required. Days of Work: Monday to Friday Shift times/Hours of work: 08:30 – 16:30
The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
