About the role

Provide client-centred psychiatric and general nursing care to adults in the acute phase of mental health and addiction disorders. Ensure security, safety, and adherence to CNO standards of nursing practice within a multidisciplinary team.

CCC-3 is an exciting inpatient service within the Acute Care program at CAMH. We are seeking one (1) part-time, permanent (0.5 FTE) Registered Practical Nurses to join the team.

CCC-3 is a 25 bed unit that provides support to adults experiencing the acute phase of a mental and/or addictions disorder. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide client-centred psychiatric and general nursing care and ensure the security, the safety and the CNO standards of nursing practice are maintained.

Requirements

Must be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and hold a current B.C.L.S. (CPR) certificate. Requires medication administration certification and experience working with diverse populations.
