Provide client-centred psychiatric and general nursing care to older individuals with mental health and addiction issues. Ensure safety, security, and adherence to CNO standards of nursing practice within an inter-professional team.
Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario, hold a current B.C.L.S. (CPR) certification, and have medication administration certification. Experience in psychiatric nursing and working with diverse populations is preferred.
The Geriatric Mental Health Program is currently seeking a full time, temporary (until July 16, 2027), Registered Practical Nurse to work in the Geriatric Admission Unit A. Reporting to the GAU-A Manager and working within the inter-professional team, you will provide client-centred care to older individuals with mental health and addiction issues. You will provide client-centred psychiatric and general nursing care and ensure the security, the safety and the CNO standards of nursing practice are maintained.
