The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for accurately dispensing prescriptions and providing high-level therapeutic care for senior residents. Key duties include verifying medication administration, conducting profile reviews, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety.
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the relevant provincial College of Pharmacists. Proficiency in Kroll software and previous experience in long-term care pharmacy are considered assets.

CareRx is looking for a Pharmacist to join our Ottawa team. Under the general direction of the Designated Pharmacy Manager, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring that all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care ensuring the highest level of therapeutic appropriateness for patients. The Staff Pharmacist responds to a multitude of scenarios including, but not limited to: Verifying safe and appropriate medication administration, assessing and dispensing critical medications, rapidly responding to palliative care prescriptions and arranging drug deliveries with our delivery team. #INDHP

$50 to $58/hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience.
This role will be on site at our Ottawa pharmacy location; 2447 Kaladar Ave, Unit 100 Ottawa ON and follows a five day work week, with rotating shifts that may include weekends and rotating on call.
This is a current existing position and is a full time position.
