The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering quality patient care by assessing needs and implementing medical plans. They provide essential education, advice, and support to patients and their family members within an interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a nursing degree or diploma, be a registered member of the College of Nurses of Ontario, and possess a BLS certificate. Experience managing mixed inpatient caseloads and proficiency with the Meditech system are required.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a valued member of the interdisciplinary team within the department and organization. They are responsible for the coordination and delivery of quality patient care by assessing and identifying patient needs, implementing and monitoring the patients’ medical plan, and following HPHA policies and procedures. Additionally, the Registered Nurse must follow nursing processes within the profession’s and licensures scope of practice. They will provide education, advice and support to patients and family members.
