Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30 hours. About this Location Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is in the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap health service area and is one of two Interior Health tertiary referral hospitals. Located in Kamloops, RIH offers high-level, specialty medical care including core physician specialties, 24 emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services. Specialty services include ambulatory psychiatry, elderly mental health, clinical nutrition, and lung health. 6 North is a dedicated medical inpatient unit specializing in comprehensive care for adult patients with a diverse range of medical conditions. With a capacity of 38 beds, 6N serves as a vital resource within the hospital for patients having medical needs. 6N is also offering specialized services as the designated eating disorder unit. At 6N, we pride ourselves on our multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Our team is composed of passionate professionals including Hospitalists (MD, NP) Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs), Transition Liaisons (TLs), Social Workers (SWs), Registered Nurses, Practical Nurses, Physical Therapists (PTs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Dieticians, and Support Services workers (HCA, Porters, Activation Team). This collaborative environment ensures that each patient receives holistic, personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
