Perform dispensary duties including medication order review, entry into Meditech Expanse, and acting as a resource for technicians and students. Provide backup coverage for patient care units, focusing on medication reconciliation and clinical problem investigation.
Requires a B.Sc. Phm and licensure or eligibility for licensure with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. Relevant clinical experience is required, while a hospital pharmacy residency and Meditech experience are preferred.
Dispensary duties in the Main Pharmacy including medication order and profile review and entry into Meditech Expanse Pharmacy module, checking responsibilities, trouble-shooting clinical & drug distribution issues, & acting as a resource for Pharmacy Technicians & Students. As staffing situations require, provide back-up coverage for staff on a variety of patient care units and departments including decentralized medication order and profile review and problem investigation, medication reconciliation and resolution and liaison responsibilities. Based at Oakville but will include remote coverage of other sites on nights, evenings & weekend shifts. Other duties as assigned.

REPOST Hours: Primarily Monday to Friday - Various rotating 7.5 hour shifts. Primarily day shifts. Weekends, evenings, and nights on rotation. (Hours subject to change based on operational needs.) Salary: $50.766 to $67.950 per hour
