EKRH has three General Ultrasound Rooms and two Echo Rooms. Approximately 17,000 General exams are completed per year and roughly 3,000 Echo exams per year. Our community’s in Creston, Fernie and Golden offer Ultrasound services and scan ~3,000 patients per year. We are seeking to expand our services to include an additional Ultrasound room at EKRH and exploring potential ultrasound in Invermere. This is a Relief Full Time (1.0) opportunity until the return of the incumbent. Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating day and evenings. Current certification with Sonography Canada as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Generalist and/or Cardiac) and/or current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Abdomen/Small Parts, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Cardiac, and/or Vascular) or be certified with Sonography Canada and have passed the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA). Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.
