Pensionable Salary Enhancement - Nurses in eligible classifications may be eligible to earn an additional $5.95/hour when working full-time hours within a prescribed six-month reporting period. (Effective April 1, 2025 – March 31st 2027.) Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS POSITION IS COMPRISED OF DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING CT/MRI/Angiography. NURSES WILL BE EXPECTED TO WORK IN ALL GEOGRAPHIC AREAS.

Unit

Day shifts are between the hours of 0700 and 1845 - Evening shifts are between the hours of 1415 and 2345 - There are also standby on call shifts on this unit. Experience Two (2) years recent Medical and/or Surgical and/or ICU and/or Emergency and/or Operating Room nursing experience required. Minimum two (2) years recent nursing experience with EKG and pressure monitoring required. Nurses currently working on the unit will be deemed qualified.
