We are hiring a relief, part-time (0.52 FTE) Physiotherapist at Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre. This position is expected to run until December 2026, or the return of the incumbent. Days of work: Bi-weekly Monday to Thursday Shift times: 07:00 to 17:30

This position offers a Physiotherapist a highly dynamic caseload as in a small town you get to see a little of everything. Majority of the patient caseload is outpatient rehab and home health visits. Other members of the Rehab Team include an Occupational Therapist, a Physiotherapist, and a Rehabilitation Assistant to support rehab treatments and planning. The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
