The Licensed Practical Nurse applies the nursing process to support patients in achieving optimum health within a people-centered care approach. Responsibilities include working to full scope of practice across various care settings and exercising independent judgment to determine work priorities.
Requires active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba and certifications in BLS, ACLS, CTAS, and TNCC. A valid Class 5 driver's license and provincial Emergency Department orientation are also required.
