The Case Worker provides support and case management strategies for individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. Responsibilities include conducting intakes, making community referrals, and implementing harm reduction programs.
Requires a University or College diploma in Social Service or a combination of equivalent education and life experience. Candidates must be able to pass a vulnerable sector background check and lift up to forty pounds.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Position Purpose summary: Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the caseworker will provide a service to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless while interacting in a positive, supportive manner by meeting and developing a case management strategy with the person/family, making referrals to other agencies as appropriate, and supervising practical supportive services while making referrals to other day staff as appropriate. This is a permanent part-time position with 15 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling is required. The work schedule is determined in consultation with your supervisor and may vary according to requirements of responsibility. Applicable shifts include a ½ hour unpaid meal break.
The target hiring range for this position is $25.62 to $25.62 with a maximum of $25.62. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
