  • The Rad Tech II will be able to troubleshoot and ensure that diagnostic and accessory equipment is functioning properly.
  • The Rad Tech II is responsible for performing radiological procedures for the purpose of medical diagnosis, including but not limited to: assessing requisitions for appropriate examinations, views and equipment required; obtaining pertinent patient information; liaising and coordinating with the attending Radiologist and Surgeon while in the OR; ensuring patients are informed about procedures and are properly prepared prior to commencement of exams; selecting techniques to provide quality imaging while keeping radiation exposure to patients and staff as low as possible; practice sterile technique when required; and performance of clerical duties related to the care of the patient.Hours of Work 75 hours biweekly; variable shift lengths; rotating days, nights, weekends and holidays Your Qualifications Graduate of an approved school of Radiological Technology required.
  • Current registration or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is required.
