Perform comprehensive audiological assessments, hearing instrument fittings, and ongoing client follow-ups. Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide counseling and aural rehabilitation to improve client hearing health.
Requires a Master's Degree in Audiology or Hearing Instrument Specialist Certification. Must be registered in good standing with the applicable Provincial College or professional association.
Conducting comprehensive audiological assessments Recommending Assistive Listening Devices Performing hearing instrument evaluations and fittings Providing ongoing client follow-ups and instrument checks Cerumen management (if within your scope of practice) Offering counseling and aural rehabilitation Conducting diagnostic testing for ENT specialists (if applicable) In addition to hands-on care, you’ll have opportunities to mentor students and new staff, stay on top of professional credentials and continued education, and engage with the community through presentations and marketing initiatives.
