Current CPR BLS required.
BCCNM Remote, STI, and CM certified practice required.
Completion of a rural nursing certification program required.
Current valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
Mental health first aid considered an asset.
Canadian Nurses Association Emergency Certification considered an asset.
ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and/or TNCC considered an asset

Is responsible for providing primary health care and emergency services to the identified community This is a Permanent Part Time (0.40) opportunity. Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating days from 08:30 to 16:30 hours. About this Location The community, 20km/12.5mi west of Hanceville, is named after Chief Alexis of the Tsilhqot’in (sill-ko-teen), who was chief during the time of the Chilcotin War. Nearby are Bull Canyon and Battle Rock, the sites of fierce intertribal battles fought between the Chilcotin and invading Shuswap and Bella Coola tribes.
