The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within a home nursing setting. They must integrate quality improvement principles and lean methodology to provide safe, patient-centered nursing care.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a nursing diploma and be registered or eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience, preferably in public health, is required.
