Provide protection and specialized services to children and youth at risk of sexual exploitation. Responsibilities include educating families on their rights, facilitating community supports, and conducting crisis intervention.
Requires a post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Services and at least 3 years of experience with high-risk youth or families. Must possess a Class 5 driver's license, First Aid certification, and a clear criminal record check.
Our Protection of Sexually Exploited Children Program in Wetaskiwin is seeking a Full-Time Outreach Worker
The PSECA (Protection of Sexually Exploited Children Act) is funded through the Ministry of Children and Family Services and has been created to provide protection and specialized services to children and youth who are at risk of or engaged in sexual exploitation. The goal of the program is to help children and youth and their families reduce the risk of sexual exploitation in the community and on-line.
$27.28 - $30.51 per hour. Plus, Travel Reimbursement at $0.57/KM.
