The worker provides professional support to families by teaching parenting, communication, and behavior management skills. Responsibilities include supervising visits, facilitating case conferences, and connecting families with community supports.
Requires a minimum of a diploma in Human Services and at least one year of frontline experience. Must possess a Class 5 driver's license, First Aid Level C, and clear criminal record checks.
The Family Development Program provides caring and professional family support to help develop positive family relationships by teaching parenting, living, communication and behavior management skills. This program helps children, youth and parents struggling with a variety of issues. Clients are referred to this program from their local Children Services office.
$27.28/hr. - $30.51/hr. Plus, Travel Reimbursement at $0.57/KM.

40 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule including afternoons, some evenings and weekends to provide services that serve a wide range of populations.
