The Respiratory Therapist provides oxygen therapy, clinical, and ventilatory support while collaborating with physicians to ensure patient safety. They are responsible for conducting full respiratory assessments, managing treatment plans, and educating patients on product usage.
Candidates must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist licensed to practice with the provincial governing body and possess a valid driver's license. Requirements include strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The Respiratory Therapist provides all respiratory services with a focus on providing oxygen therapy, clinical and ventilatory support to the client while collaborating with referring physicians and ensuring patient safety. The incumbent will work directly with all clients, referral sources and funding agencies to deliver high quality clinical evidence based care. Additionally, they continuously work on growing the overall business through promotion of our products and services. Conducting full respiratory assessments. Assessing and evaluating patient test results. Delivering of equipment and supplies. Determining respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians and care teams. Identifying discrepancies with respiratory therapy treatments and conveying them to the care team. Ensuring the completion of all documentation and form to initiate therapy. Providing follow-up to Clients to evaluate effects of treatment plan. Preparing funding documents and facilitating payment. Demonstrating and educating patients on usage of products and services. Contributing to the growth of Lakeland Respiratory by liaising with medical professionals. __________________ Are you a MATCH?
